Banned site cured!
Sep 4th, 2005 by jim galley
I’ve gotten a few comments back – seems that my Debt Consolidation site http://curefordebt.com/ has been released from its google ban as of Sept. 3rd. The cached site is a godaddy placeholder page – which is interesting, since the wayback machine didn’t show that page cached nor did I register the domain there.
Oh, on another point – be careful when registering domains @ godaddy – There are quite a few horror stories about godaddy reclaiming your domain whenever a spam complaint is made & then charging a $199 dollar fee to get it back. Here’s an example here.
If you have a domain there, I’d suggest you move it.
Now, if only my other banned site http://popknowledge.com/ would be released… but it needs content first.
I’m glad you finally got out of being Banned from the big “G” Jim.
That one had me confused as well. I’ve been using Namecheap as my Registrar – I’m not a huge fan of Godaddy- who do you recommend since you aren’t a fan of Godaddy either?

I’ve used dotster for years with success – but @ 14.95 per renewal it’s a little high.
Domainsite.com is ICANN accredited, has realtime DNS propagation and costs 6.99.
Works fo me!
